Job Description

We are seeking a Technical Client Services Liaison to work in a contract to hire role with our company; placed on assignment in Plano, TX.

Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. The company is not able to sponsor employment visas now or in the future. No 3rd party candidates can be considered.

W2 hourly rate range: $45.00 - $65.00

Location: Onsite in Plano, TX

Purpose

To provide advanced support and troubleshooting of computer systems, IT services, desktops, peripherals, and general IT support within a Company Business Unit.

Main Responsibilities and Tasks

  • Act as the primary technology liaison for field engineers and third-party service providers.

  • Serve as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for the Data Center Solutions Business Platform regarding IT Client Services needs.

  • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding activities for service personnel, including equipment provisioning and access management.

  • Provide infrastructure support for the business unit.

  • Act as the primary technology liaison for field engineers and third-party service providers.

  • Ensure personnel have reliable access to required tools, applications, documentation, and communication platforms.

  • Own the complete laptop lifecycle management process, including procurement, configuration, deployment, shipment, tracking, recovery, disposal, and replacement.

  • Build, image, configure, and maintain Windows-based endpoint devices according to corporate standards.

  • Conduct quarterly device refreshes, updates, inspections, security reviews, and re-imaging activities.

  • Maintain accurate asset inventories and asset records in designated asset management systems.

  • Support hardware warranty management, repairs, vendor coordination, and replacement programs.

Education

Required:

  • Associate's degree in Computer Technology, IT, or a related discipline, or comparable experience.

Job Experience

Required:

  • 5+ years of experience in IT Help Desk Support or a related discipline.

Technical / Professional Skills

Required:

  • 4-5 years of strong IT Client Services Support and IT Infrastructure experience, willingness to work, good communication, and actual or potential customer service skills.

  • Experience supporting field service organizations or distributed workforce environments.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, SCCM, and Windows 11.

  • Experience with asset management platforms and inventory control processes.

  • Familiarity with networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and wireless connectivity.

  • Experience with PowerShell scripting and task automation.
